01Who we are
This policy explains how Neltar (“Neltar”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through neltar.com and when you contact us. We are the controller of that information.
Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@neltar.com.
02Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the website:
- Strategy call requests: your name, work email, company name, company revenue band, role, and optionally your LinkedIn profile and any notes you choose to share.
- Contact messages: your name, email, optionally your company, and your message.
- Emails you send us: your email address and whatever you include in the message.
- Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) to keep the site secure and working.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it through the website.
03How we use it
- To review your request, prepare for and schedule a strategy call, and reply to your messages.
- To follow up about a potential engagement you have asked us about.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
04Legal bases
Where data-protection law such as the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: steps you ask us to take before entering a contract (responding to a call request); our legitimate interest in running and securing our business and website; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
06International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
07How long we keep it
We keep call requests and correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting engagement, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@neltar.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
10Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
